What is Clockwork Mod Recovery?

Clockwork Mod Recovery is a special recovery program that allows you to do many things that you couldn't do with the stock recovery program.  You can use clockworkmod to repartition your card, flash in new roms, fix errors, wipe out cache and data, etc.  It is a very useful tool for the android platform.
