CYANOGENMOD 7.2 FOR GALAXY 551


Cyanogenmod 7.2-RC1



What is working:
  • Wifi
  • 2g/3g network (If not working add apn config manually )
  • Bluetooth
  • Youtube
  • Headset
  • 2d/3d Graphics
  • GPS
Bugs:
  • Camera orientation is wrong
  • During calls microphone go off-line when screen is turn off.
  • FM Radio is not working with system app
Info:
  • You can get Google apps from there.
  • If you have problem with sensors please remove /system/lib/hw/sensors.callisto.so(You need remount /system)
  • Overclocking is not supported in this kernel(Here is kernel with OC)

    Thank you so much my friend, the second bug is not present in my cel phone but the bug's camera remains, everything else is just fine.

    The developer said this that next build will be beta and does not have any bug he will tried to remove all bugs in that build.

    How to install(First and second step is for user who don`t have gingerbread bootloader and CWM):

    1.Flash stock 2.3.6 via ODIN

    2.Flash 5.0.2.6_CWM_recovery_Gingerbread(you need extract 7z) via ODIN as onepackage

    3.Upload update-cm-GB-7.1.0-WILLING-Snapshot-20YYMMDD.zip to /sdcard.

    4.Launch phone in recovery mode.

    5.Choose Install zip, and select update-cm-GB-7.2.0-WILLING-Snapshot-20YYMMDD.zip

    6.Wipe data and cache

    7.If phone don`t boot after wipe please flash GB_KERNEL.PDA via Odin

    camera bug can be avoided by using other camera apps but what about the microphone bug???? please cmnt the solutions if there is any
